On June 8, Qianjiang Electric held a grand ceremony celebrating its 50th anniversary at the main conference hall of its new campus. The factory area and the Zhilian Sci-Tech Innovation Park were adorned with colorful flags. The promotional slogan, "Paying Tribute to 50 Years of Journey, Looking Forward to a Bright Future; Inheriting the Three Oxen Spirit, Building a Century-Old Qianjiang," shone brilliantly, creating a festive and jubilant atmosphere throughout the venue. Honorary Chairman Xiang Zhongxiao, Chairman and President Xiang Yong attended the event and delivered speeches. Cao Kun, Secretary of the Group’s Party Committee, served as the master of ceremonies.
More than 200 attendees gathered on-site, including members of the Board of Directors, all shareholders, senior executives, members of the Party, trade union, Communist Youth League, and women's federation committees, heads of subsidiaries and functional departments, and representatives of advanced individuals. All active employees watched the grand ceremony online via a live DingTalk broadcast.
The celebration kicked off with a poetry recitation titled Fifty Years of Qianjiang Tides, Building Dreams for a Century-Old Electrical Enterprise, presented by the Group’s Administrative Management Center. A specially produced 50th-anniversary commemorative video was also screened, offering a panoramic review of the enterprise's half-century entrepreneurial journey. Featuring heartfelt wishes from management teams and employee representatives at all levels, the video warmly looked back on the company's developmental years, officially opening the ceremony.
Representing the Group’s Party Committee and mass organizations, Cao Kun extended warm congratulations on the company's 50th anniversary and expressed sincere respect to all Qianjiang Electric employees who have dedicated themselves to their posts and passed the baton from generation to generation. He stated that the Party Committee and mass organizations will continue to unite the workforce, consolidate the foundation for development, and lead all employees to stay true to their original aspirations and work practically, fully supporting the high-quality development of the enterprise and wishing it enduring prosperity and vitality.
In his anniversary speech, Xiang Yong looked back on the 50 years of entrepreneurial hardships, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the founders for their dedication, to all employees for their united efforts, and to the broader community for their strong support. He stated that, standing at this new starting point of the 50th anniversary, the enterprise will seize the opportunities in the new energy and smart grid industries. Centered on the core strategy of "transforming from a traditional transformer manufacturer to a provider of smart power equipment and system solutions," the company will deeply advance its comprehensive transformation and upgrading. Relying on the Sci-Tech Innovation Park platform and cloud service systems to build an industrial internet ecosystem, and inheriting the "Three Oxen Spirit," Qianjiang Electric will strive toward its grand vision of becoming a century-old enterprise and a world-class electrical equipment supplier and service provider.
Subsequently, Wu Yiqing, Deputy Secretary of the Group’s Party Committee and HR Director, read the Decision on Commending the Advanced Awards of the "Three Oxen Spirit" Series for the 50th Anniversary of Qianjiang Electric Group. The leadership team presented certificates and medals one by one to the recipients of the Lifetime Honorary Chairman title, the "Three Oxen Spirit" Outstanding Contribution, Heritage, Commemoration, and New Generation awards, as well as the Pioneer Ox, Hardworking Ox, and Service Ox awards, and the 20- to 40-Year Honorary Employee awards. Four award representatives, including Li Jianhua, shared their inspiring stories on-site, passing on the Qianjiang spirit of staying rooted in the real economy and remaining true to our original aspirations.
The celebration also featured a 50th-anniversary themed roundtable forum. Moderated by Wu Yue, Strategic Consultant of the Group, core management members including Xiang Zhongxiao, Xiang Yong, Fan Lidong, Gu Shengjian, Wang Jianli, and Liu Jun gathered to look back on their entrepreneurial journey, share stories of hard work, and draw a blueprint for future development, vividly recreating the enterprise's transformation from a small initial workshop to an industry benchmark.
A solemn presentation ceremony for the "Three Oxen Spirit" Heritage Sculpture was also held at the event. Honorary Chairman Xiang Zhongxiao presented the sculpture to Xiang Yong. This symbolizes the enterprise's 50-year dedication to the real economy, carries the earnest expectations of the older generation of entrepreneurs to adhere to practical work, empower through innovation, and stay focused on the core business, and signifies that the "Three Oxen Spirit" will be passed down through generations, forging a century-old foundation with craftsmanship.
Delivering an important speech, Xiang Zhongxiao comprehensively reviewed the company's development since its establishment in 1976. He left a message of hope for the new generation of the enterprise, expressing his desire for all employees, under the leadership of Chairman Xiang Yong, to continue inheriting the "Three Oxen Spirit."
