About Us
Founded in 1976, Hangzhou Qianjiang Electric Group Co., Ltd. is a National Key High-Tech Enterprise and a Top 10 player in China's transformer industry. With half a century of expertise in power equipment manufacturing, we operate state-of-the-art production bases in Hangzhou, Quzhou, and Nanchang, Jiangxi.
Our excellence has been widely recognized. We are honored as a National-Level Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative (SRDI) "Little Giant" Enterprise, a National Green Factory, and one of China's Top 100 Electrical Industry Enterprises. We have also received numerous prestigious accolades, including the China Machinery Industry Quality Award, Hangzhou Municipal Government Quality Award, and designations as a Provincial AAA Contract-Abiding Enterprise, Zhejiang Smart Factory, and Hangzhou Digital Economy Top 100 Enterprise. Furthermore, we serve as the Vice Chairman Unit of the Transformer Branch of the China Electrical Equipment Industry Association and the President Unit of the Zhejiang Power Transmission and Distribution Equipment Industry Association. Beyond manufacturing, we provide smart power services including EPC power engineering, equipment O&M, smart energy management, and power industry incubation.
As a co-drafter of national standards for transformers, we operate three National Key High-Tech Enterprises, a Postdoctoral Workstation, and a Provincial Transformer Research Institute. We boast industry-leading short-circuit resistance technology for distribution transformers; notably, our fully automatic protection single-phase pole-mounted transformer has won the China Electric Power Science and Technology Progress Award and the State Grid Science and Technology Progress Award. We were among the first transformer enterprises to receive energy-saving certificates from the China Quality Certification Center (CQC). In 2024, our testing center was accredited by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS), meaning our test results are mutually recognized in 116 countries. This milestone further enhances our technical capabilities in testing and service, driving our commitment to safety, efficiency, and low-carbon operations in support of China's "Dual Carbon" goals.
